Our 3rd Anniversary

Our Story in a Nutshell!

It all began in 1997, it was sophmore year at Carroll High School and I met this trumpet player-Ronald. We went on our first date to see "Man in the Iron Mask" with a group of friends. The date ended in a minor car accident after my car went off the road into a ditch during a thunderstorm. Ronald managed to push us out of a muddy ditch -"My Hero"! Though our date ended in a disaster, Ronald still called me the next day.

On Christmas Day of 2003, Ronald popped the BIG QUESTION after 6 1/2 years of dating and asked me to marry him. We planned a destination wedding to Las Vegas for June 14th, 2006 with our closest friends and family.

Our Parents

For our anniversary, we exchanged gifts -we both bought each other leather wallets (3rd yr is leather gifts). That evening we went and ate a Snoopy's (Seafood Restaurant on the water) and had ice cream at Scoopy's next door. As part of our anniversary gift to ourselves we will be going to Playa de Carmen, Mexico for 4 nights in July.

Sea World Trip

Last week, the girls, grandpa and I took an unexpected 1 night trip to San Antonio to visit the McBrayer Crew. We decided the next morning to go to Sea World since the weather seemed fair and overcast. Isabel really enjoyed all the animals-she is in this phase where she really likes animal adventure shows (her favorite movies are Nim's Island & Ice Age "Squirrel Movie"). I think her favorite part of the park was feeding the Sea Lions (or as Cousin Will called them the "Sea Kings"). These Sea Lions sure do eat like "Kings" -we spent probably over $20 to feed them fish and squid. Isabel barely made it to the end to see the Shamu Show(she calls him "Shampoo")-she was falling asleep in grandpa's arms.

Little Lillie

At Little David's B-day with Daddy

June 4th
Height: 24 inches
Weight: 12 lbs

Milestones:
-Eating habits: Enjoys banana rice-cereal in her bottle and from a spoon. She still drinks about 6 to 7 oz of formula at each feeding
-New Discoveries: She has found her feet-she loves holding onto her feet in a boat-like position.
We are still trying to roll over-she really does NOT like laying on her tummy.
-Places she went: Sea-World in San Antonio, Aunt Marisa's House, Beach
-Things I love: Laying on her changing pad and looking out the window -she can do this for hours, and sitting in her swing outside. She also likes sitting in her little seat and playing with toys.
