"I'm Singing in the Rain"

For the first time in months...we finally had a little rain that lasted about 1 hour. Isabel just had to go put on her jacket, even though I told her she didn't need it. Let's pray for some more rain!

Heading for Colorado...

Ronald will be heading off for his annual Elk Hunting trip to Colorado next Friday. In preparation for his trip, he thought he might need a new truck. So here it is!

First Day of Pre-School

Isabel started her first day of pre-school this past Monday. Ronald and I decided it would be good for her to get out and meet some kids her age and learn a little too. We enrolled her at Wesley United Methodist Church -Learning Tree which is more like school than daycare. She goes Monday thru Friday 8:30 to 4pm.

So...for a couple of weeks prior to school starting I got her all ready-I bought a backpack, nap mat, lunch box and I got her mentally prepared too. As we got out of the car, Isabel had her backpack, pillow/blanket, and her "suitcase"(that is what she called her lunchbox) and she walked into school all ready and she went to her table --and EVERYONE (all 9 -2 yr olds) was crying. It was literally a chain reaction, poor thing -Isabel refused to sit down and all she could do was cry. So, this whole week has been really hard for her, but hopefully it will get better.

These pictures are not that great because my lens kept fogging up! Hopefully I will get some better ones this Friday.

Lillie Growing by Leaps and Bounds-6 Months old

Weight: 15 lb 15 ounces
Height: 26 inches

Sleeping Patterns: Lillie is currently taking 2 long naps (2 hrs) during the day and a couple of cat naps in between. She goes to bed around 7:30 -8pm and wakes up around 7am.

Eating Habits: Loves all her fruits and veggies! We have started giving her some little teething banana biscuits.
New Discoveries: We just bought her a walker (Thank you Mark and Julia). She loves to play in it-for now she is just dangling in it and NO walking or crawling yet.

Places I went: Spencer's Lake House

Personality: For the most part she is very quiet and likes to watch everything. But you will know when she is mad or not very happy with you-the cry is more like a scream! The funniest thing she does right now is if someone coughs she will mimic you -it is hilarious!
