What an Athlete!

This past weekend Ronald participated in 2 local events. On Saturday, he ran in a relay marathon, Beach to Bay, with a group of people from work. The team consist of 6 people and each person running about 4 miles through Corpus Christi. I think they finish right around 3 hours.

On Sunday, we drove to Flat Creek Crossing Ranch, just outside Austin, Texas to participate in a trail running and biking race- called Muddy Buddy 2009. The race features a 6-7 mile course and 5 obstacles. At the start of the race, one team member will run and one will ride the bike. At the 1st obstacle, the rider will drop the bike, complete the obstacle, and begin running. The runner will arrive, complete the obstacle, find their bike, and begin riding. Teams will continue leapfrogging each other through the entire course. At the end of the race, racers will crawl through the infamous Mud Pit crossing the finish line together!

They had lots of Fun!!!

Going to the Beach for a Break

After a stressful week at work, Ronald and I decided to head for the beach with the girls and Jaxon to relax for a couple of hours. Isabel absolutely LOVES the beach and would go everyday if we would take her. And so would Jaxon!! Lillie really likes being outside so I'm sure that once she is a little older she will like the beach too. Lillie 1st time to touch sand

Swine Flu Vacation to the Lake House

Swine Flu...??? Well, the kids were off of school for a couple of days due to the swine flu. Thank goodness none of them are sick. We decided to take all the kids to the lake for the day for a little fun! The Girls -taking a break from the lake

Eating Habits: Just started cereal w/ formula in the bottle at morning feeding time.
She is drinking 6 to 7 oz of formula at feedings

New Discoveries: She has really started to notice Isabel and watches her play. Lillie loves to hold on to her blanket and bunch it all up in her hands. Her biggest discovery is her thumb-she LOVES to suck on her thumb.

Places I went: Beach and San Antonio

Personality: She loves to sit by the window and look outside. She does NOT like tummy time at all. She enjoys her walks with Nana, and LOVES nap time. She is normally very quiet and all smiles!

Birthday Tribute To Cousin William

This past weekend was little Will's 3rd Birthday! We celebrated his birthday at Chucky Cheese in San Antonio. The funniest part of the birthday was when they were trying to push him in his chair to the cake-he started to grab on to everyone else's chair on the way to stop them, and then he didn't want to hear us sing happy birthday. For his birthday, he got lots of Diego, cars, motorcycles, dinosaurs...boy stuff.
